A B O U T ME

Hi, hello, hej, kon'nichiwa (that's about as far as my language skills get me)

You've arrived!!! Thanks for stopping by, oh and congratulations on getting engaged to the love of your life!

There are many things in this world that I am obsessed with, but the main ones are making my baby laugh, coffee (obviously, I am a mama) pizza, wine (see coffee) dogs & weddings, of course. Give me a day with all of the above and, hot damn, I am on top of the world.

I became a celebrant after being inspired at the first wedding in my friendship group. I saw the celebrant and I thought to myself, “I could do that. I love to write (and, just quietly, I think I am pretty good at it), I don't hate public speaking and my job would see me being surrounded by loved up people, what a buzz”. I also remember asking that same friend what she was looking for in a celebrant. She said she was basically “after someone who had good hair so they wouldn't ruin the photos”. I mean, I can't say I have the most luscious locks around, but my mane is pretty good. So, here I am!

I get that organising a wedding is stressful and there's so much to do, with people pulling you in every direction. That's why my aim, neh my mission, is to keep reminding you why you're doing this thing - because you're two humans in love! (I must add here that I am also open to being the celebrant for the union of two consenting dogs, if anyone's interested!)
